Thank you to Dawn at Larkhill Dementia Café for taking the time to tell us all about the amazing work they do within their community.
The Larkhill Dementia Café is a voluntary organisation for anyone affected by dementia or memory problems. The café has been going for 12 years, offering community contact, signposting, counselling, support, singing, activities and entertainment.
The Dementia café is held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month between 10am – 12pm. If you are interested in attending the group or would like more information we ask that you contact Dawn on 0770-843-0887. Those who attend are asked for a nominal fee of £3 to cover the cost of brews, biscuits and entertainment.
