Robbie and Steph are the most amazing people whom with their team helped us through a difficult time. Everything was stress free as they had things covered for us. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was excellent all the way through. Their personal approach to everything was just what we needed and they were both so thoughtful and kind to us. We would strongly recommend Herbert Murray to anyone needing their services as we can not sing their praises enough

Amazing, compassionate service from the first phone call right through to the day of the funeral. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they endeavour to make sure the day itself is as perfect as that day can be. They are always at the end of the phone for any queries or worries and treat your passed loved one with such dignity and respect. They made what is an extremely tough time that bit more manageable. My family used the services of Herbert Murray for the funeral of our mother recently, we collectively can't speak highly enough of both Robbie and Steph, they were simply outstanding in everyway throughout the whole process. In what was a difficult period for us they were professional and considerate. The day itself was planned with incredible attention to detail. Steph and Robbie are the most caring and professional funeral directors I have ever come across and I have dealt with a few from the Sale area in the past several years. From beginning to end they were with us every step of the way which took a lot of the pressure off us at this difficult time. They also put us in touch with a celebrant they recommended called Susan Blackshaw who was also marvellous.

I could not recommend Robbie and the team enough. They were amazing for me, my family and friends in what was an extremely difficult time and I’m extremely grateful. Nothing was too much of a problem and they did anything we asked within their power and Robbie kept a great level of communication throughout. Also looking after our loved one in a nice environment, taking flowers which arrived days after the service as well as supporting us all throughout the day. I’m really glad we used Herbert Murray and I’d highly recommend them to anybody in the Trafford area.

I would highly recommend using this company. Steph was calm, reassuring and knowledgeable. She guided us through a difficult experience and our family felt safe in her hands. We felt reassured our late dad was very well looked after under her and Robbies care. She made us feel like she knew him in life, even though she didn’t. Her recommendation to use Reverend Richard was spot on - he was fantastic and again his professionalism and warmth made the service so unique - our dad would have loved it !

I had to arrange a long distance funeral for my mother, I was recommended Steph and Robbie because they have a reputation for providing a very personalised service and I was not disappointed. They went out of their way to guide and support me through the process, even though we didn't actually meet until the day before the funeral. The funeral was beautiful, Steph and Robbie provided numerous personal touches which were very much appreciated. I highly recommend them.

Highly recommend Steph and Robbie, during such difficult circumstances losing mum and dad together they really supported us 3 girls and helped us through such a challenging time. The service they offer is extremely personal and they guide you through each step and break it down into manageable bits so avoid it being overwhelming. Robbie and Steph were absolute angels when I lost my Grandma and Grandad together. This happened in September 2018 and I still admire their love and care every single day. When my stepfather passed away suddenly and unexpectedly my mum chose Herbert Murray as they are in her local village. We are so happy she did. We cannot praise Robbie and Steph highly enough. From our first meeting with Steph up until the funeral nearly a month later they were constantly in touch with mum, calling her nearly every other day to make sure she was ok and telling her to pop in and have a coffee with them. The only time I saw my mum break down was when they arrived with Brian at her house, but Robbie was amazing and talked to her with such compassion and reasurred her about everything that would happen.
